Taurus Fabrication Founded in 2015

Recognizing a major opportunity in steel manufacturing, Beau Huiskens took the leap to start his own engineering and fabrication company. After selling his share in a family business, he launched Taurus Fabrication, which has since grown into a thriving operation with over 25 machines and a strong focus on innovation and advanced manufacturing.

Engineering Strengths

Initially, the Engineering team was Beau, but over time the department has grown. Now, when clients submit their designs our team of engineers have an opportunity to shine. They carefully review the specs and can predict potential issues, offer efficiency suggestions, and apply a Value Engineering (engineering a product to make the best use of resources) approach.

“Design for manufacturability”, this phrase challenges our engineers to find the right machine for the job. Thankfully, our growing machine line-up makes that decision quite easy.

A large client was growing and offered Taurus the opportunity to grow right along side it, Beau jumped at the chance and was able to ramp up Taurus Fabrication to exceed this client’s needs. This growth has allowed us to devote more time to helping clients overcome technical hurdles often seen during fabrication.

Today, Taurus uses this early success to stay ahead of competitors, often acquiring cutting edge equipment months or even years before any other fab shop in the United States.

We’ve helped startups as well as long-established companies with our flexible, nimble approach. And while we focus more on larger projects, quick turn arounds on prototypes also remain part of who we are.
