Taurus Fab's Metal Fabrication Process

The Metal Fabrication process at Taurus Fabrication is a critical phase in the creation of any project. During this intricate stage, the parts that have been expertly formed in the Sheet Metal and CNC departments are meticulously fit together like pieces of a puzzle. They are then carefully held in place by precision clamps then fused together to form a seamless and complete item.

Our Commitment to Precision

What sets Taurus Fabrication apart in this process is our commitment to precision and attention to detail. Before the parts make their way to the Sheet Metal and CNC departments, our engineering team reviews each component’s design. This thorough evaluation allows us to anticipate the assembly process that our fabrication team will perform. Often, subtle but non-impactful changes are suggested during the design phase, resulting in parts that can only be assembled in one specific way. This foresight, often called Poka-Yoke, significantly reduces the likelihood of costly errors, ensures maximum productivity, and ultimately results in an end product that boasts unparalleled precision and accuracy.

Highly Skilled Welding Team

At the heart of our Metal Fabrication process is our highly skilled welding team. These dedicated professionals are proficient in MIG and TIG welding techniques and are adept at working with a wide range of materials, including carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and more. Their expertise in welding these materials ensures that every welded joint is executed flawlessly, contributing to the strength, durability, and overall quality of the final product. That assertion is further tested by our in-house Certified Welding Inspector.
